The Paar Embroidered Bodycon Dress is one-of-its-kind body-hugging cami dress that comes with knotted strings for the fit. The red shades come from the unique Kotpad weave using Aul tree extracts. The weave features local coastal elements and adds a subtle effect. It's infused with Kharik hand embroidery, where the back of the thread is as beautiful as the front. The contrasting patterns come from the finest unbleached rainfed cotton woven into a Kota Doria weave.
Handmade in 230 hours
1. The rare unbleached Kota Doria is specially made for Jiwya, in plant fibers, from a village where there is a pit loom in every home.
2. The Kharik Hand embroidery is done only by select few artisans.
3. The art form of Kotpad weave is unique for its motif and brilliant shades of red from the local aul plant.
4. The artisans who worked on these raw materials are State and Padma Shri awardees.
