The Aleku Front Slit Trail Gown is a flower petal inspired design, blending two delicate art forms in their rarest appearance. Handmade in rainfed cotton from handspun, handwoven yarns, it is natural dyed in plant colours. The dress features Kodalikaruppur hand-block print using generation wooden block but a rare plant fibre composition. It is complimented with unbleached finest cotton yarns into a Kota Doria weave. The fine checkered weave of Kota Doria gives an exquisite appeal to the sheer design. The skirt has two front slits, which is a unique feature along with the fact that this is probably the lightest trail gown that you will own. This is a limited edition singular piece.
2. The rare unbleached Kota Doria is specially made for Jiwya, in plant fibers, from a village where there is a pit loom in every home.
