1. Kala cotton is a form of dry farm cotton that uses much less water and zero pesticide to grow, it gets its name kala for being naturally dull in shade.
2. The motifs are a typical design found in western India, followed by local weaver communities.
3. The crochet lace come from a village that acquired the skill from Britishers and continues to reinvent it in Indian way.
