The hand-dyed cotton fabric in Tamil Nadu's Sungudi art makes the controlled olive gown for the striking and playful yellow-red of the Khadi bralette in Lahariya hand-dyeing from Rajasthan. Two varying tie and dye art forms from two different geographies of India. Sungudi art involves tying structured dotted design to resist the die while Labariya useds generation wave style techniques. The strings are upcycled from Machilipatnam Kalamkari hand block print in their signature bright hues.
