The Chinar Handmade Pseudo Kaftan is one our signature pieces of the collection. It is a relaxed fare with oblong sleeves, pleated side contrast and the most exquisite hand embroidery cutting the checkered patterns. An attempt at making designs and sizes that go beyond body types.
It is made in pure cotton handloom, of the Kunbi weave from Goa. A traditional weave that has the most bright red color achievable from natural plant dyes. What blends perfectly with the Indian red shade of the pseudo kaftan, is the Sozni hand embroidery from Jammu & Kashmir that is so fine it passes as a print. The pleated structure houses handwoven unbleached Muslin from West Bengal as the softest and lightest fabric next to your skin.
