The Gaayika Handmade Dupatta is a quintessential Indian dupatta or long scarf, housing two distinct art forms in it.
It's wine-burgundy colour comes from natural plant dyed Batik hand-block print from Madhya Pradesh. The art of resisting colours using hot wax is quite a challenge with natural colours, but the artist and this dupatta fared well. Fine challas at the end Sindhi hand embroidery from the borders of Rajasthan embellish the dupatta beautifully.
