The Gir Handmade Colour Block Shirt is a piece of finesse with its relaxed fit and subtlety of colours.
It has a standing collar with a looped-design neckline and two beautiful art forms. Hand-dyed yarns in plant colours was made into the eclectic Tangaliya Weave from Gujarat. This weave went to become this shirt where the dotted motifs embellish the design. The perfect colour block is obtained from the Bawanbuti Handloom from Bihar, where weavers make sarees with 52 motifs that are local to the state. The loop design with coconut buttons, the blend of olive and slate with white dana is quite rare a combination to behold.
