The Him Handmade Dress is a snow white, sheer dress with cold shoulder, drooping sleeves adorned with unbleached crochet and a crush knot bust.
This cotton fabric is Hand Appliqued with geometric patterns and embedded with dotted stars of Mukaish hand work in Uttar Pradesh. Appliqueing is an art of finely patterning, cutting and layering fabrics in desired shapes while Mukaish involves use of natural metal ductile strips to make a design. The drooping sleeves are embellished with hand-crochet laces made by the women of Narsapur, fondly called as the lace village, getting the name due to widespread crocheting techniques learnt by the locals since the times of British in India.
