Handwoven kala cotton is natural plant dyed in a burly weave from the state of Gujarat, where the Kala cotton grows in abundance as a native variety. Beautifully gilded with Zardozi hand embroidery from Uttar Pradesh. It is a unique form of hand embroidery that uses thread to be looped on a vertical needle before looping it back in, giving the three dimensional effect.
