Unalo Upcycled Fabric Tapestry | Wall Hanging
The Unalo Handmade Tapestry is part of our "Seasons Series" depicting the true forms of nature through our upcycled art, of course in plant based form. Housed on a sturdy rainfed cotton handloom and held by teakwood rod with braided jute ropes. At Jiwya, we are proud to be zero-waste in our production. That means, every ounce of fabric leftover from patterns is utilized. Every strand in this large sunset, symbolising summer and its vibrance, is made from fabrics from our own production line. 7 different textile art forms and hand embroidery yarns hand-dyed by our founders in plant colours embellish this piece. Exquisite weaves, rare hand-block prints, and hand-embroidered over for opulence. This limited edition, singular tapestry can bring warmth to any wall in your home!
2. Blend of 7+ heritage textile art forms, many of which are raw materials made by National and Padma Shri awardees.
